Behind the Scenes #soulgazephotography

I found one of the #sunflowers in my #garden had fallen over this morning. Today’s mood was visually represented. It’s in water, sofar not wilted, so hopefully it’ll survive long enough for the seed to grow for harvest. It was a reminder to plant deeper for stronger roots. An ironic parallel to life. We often rush things without thinking of the future.

#RIP Spica. Today, around 11:30am, the last of my #threemusketeers left me forever. The bubble of their immortality and my youth was forever broken. I’d had her since 2003. Together, they remained safely indoors since 2005. Gizmo died in 2016, Sphinx in 2017. Time moves swiftly. Appreciate the time you have, it may feel endless, but #death is always waiting. Goodbye Gizmo, Sphinx and Spica. My heart and soul will miss you always. 😢

I always enjoy exploring #CumberlandFalls in #Kentucky. This was the view in October of 2017. I’ll be making another trip soon and am looking forward to the adventure! #waterfall #geology

My Crape Myrtle, soft and fluffy. I rescued this one from crunchy dehydration at a local garden center. It’s thanked me by surviving and blooming beautifully.

So much beauty resides among the trees. From the blue sky seen in the gaps above to the variety of ferns on the ground below. I really adore ferns! So many species and all are beautiful scattered among the rocky terrain of the trails at Mammoth Cave.

While I was taking photos, suddenly it jumped on my phone, then made its way up my arm to my shoulder. Nature is always amazing me with random occurrences. I froze and admired. Eventually, it hopped away to an unknown destination.
