Common Questions

How much do services cost?

I believe every soul is unique, so pricing is custom. Projects start at $100hr, or a per-project fee. If the provided quote is outside the budget you had in mind, you can make monthly payments or we can customize what is included to better suit your needs. This one-time fee does not include domain and hosting fees (around $240yr) or negotiated fees for ongoing maintenance. Choose between a low cost DIY option where I do the setup and train you to add your content (Squarespace's award-winning Customer Care team will be ready to assist you) or have me do all the work so you don't have to.

What is included?

A custom website setup and designed for you, domain name setup or migration, and one month of self-maintenance tutoring and support.

When are you availiable for services?

I am unable to have set hours due to the nature of my work, volunteering at Mammoth Cave and my family's needs. An appointment is required prior to visiting my office or to book my services which are availiable 24/7.

Can I meet you in-person?

Before anything is official, we can meet at a mutually local public place or over a live video call to discuss your project needs and budget. Your website project will be worked on remotely by email or video chat, saving us both time and gas as website projects often require frequent changes.

How do we make this official and how will I pay you?

Once we agree on the scope and fee, I'll setup your online Client Portal. From there, you'll sign our agreement and pay your invoice. It's faster, easier and Eco-friendly to handle everything online and you'll have everything in one place. Payment is accepted online by credit card or PayPal and in-person by cash or check. Payment by check will not be credited to your invoice until it the deposit has cleared.

Do you require a deposit/retainer?

A non-refundable retainer (will be applied to invoice) is required to reserve your date(s)on my calendar. 50% of invoice is due to start your project, with the remainder due for delivery.

When can I expect to see my website?

The speed of delivery is dependant upon how long it takes to recieve content (text such as services and biography, photos etc) from clients. Once all content has been recieved, projects can be a few days to a few weeks. Never months unless the client is awaiting content from outside sources.

How do I get my website?

From the first day of your project, you will be provided Administrator level access. This means you will be able to explore and update portions of your website as-needed and be able to learn faster when I provide self-maintenance tutoring. Our Agreement explains this in better detail, so if you have questions before signing, please let me know.
