I travelled to various farms in Barren County, Kentucky that were affected by an EF-0 tornado. Photography was provided to Joe Sullivan, Warning Coordination Meteorologist for the National Weather Service office in Louisville and Tracy Shirley of Barren County Emergency Management.
The National Weather Service office based in Louisville, Kentucky was providing a free Skywarn storm spotter training class at the Cave City Convention Center in Cave City, Kentucky. I created graphics for social media sharing and distribution to the public to help raise awareness and increase attendance. I also shared the graphics as well. This helped to get the word out and increase the number of participants.
