Photo Restoration
Repairing and editing of damaged or old photos.
High resolution scans are collected using the original photo. The digital image is then edited by hand to remove scratches, tears and correct color. This can be a time consuming, extensively detailed process. Once complete, images are delivered in a private online gallery with the ability to purchase prints and products for family and friends.
The client had posted the scan of her photo on Facebook and I reached out offering photo restoration services. The image was badly damaged with many scratches and a tear down the middle that had been repaired with tape.
The thin paper images had damage from being bend and thrown around in storage boxes over the years with other photos.
