Meet Amber
OWNER & CREATIVE DIRECTOR

Hello, I'm Amber Flowers

I’m a photographer, designer and mother of four based in Glasgow, Kentucky. I have built my business by utilizing self-taught skills of more than 20 years experience with photography, website building, social media management, graphic design, and marketing.
In 2014, I listened to the encourage of family and friends an opened Soul Gaze Photography. I specialize in capturing authentic stories through real moments, whether that means documenting family milestones, community events, or creating visuals that help businesses connect with their audience and increase revenue.
I travel to clients, enjoying the variety and challenge of working on location in the most unexpected places. From lying in the dirt to standing waist-deep in a cold lake, I’ll do whatever it takes to capture the moment. That same fearless, outside-the-box mindset drives my design and marketing work. My style is bold and colorful, blending documentary storytelling with the fast, intuitive eye of photojournalism. Every project remains a collaboration, and my goal is to tell your story with soul so that it is authentic and memorable.

Behind the Scenes
Meet Amber, see behind the scenes photos, meet her family, and follow personal socials.
When not behind a camera or in front of a computer screen, I’m proud to be a mother of four (19, 17, 4, and 6mo), life at home is a beautiful kind of chaos. My family reminds me daily why capturing memories will forever matter. Whether I’m editing photos with one of our daughters in my lap or brainstorming ideas on a project while making dinner, my work and family life are deeply intertwined. Soul Gaze grew alongside my children, enabling me to prioritize their schedules. Every project reflects the same love and attention to detail that I strive to provide my family. When I'm not working, we spend most of our time together singing, exploring a trail, swimming, fossil hunting, or finding adventure locally and beyond.
I’m also proud of my journey with Mammoth Cave National Park (2018 - 2021), starting as a volunteer, growing into a bat monitor intern through the Student Conservation Association, and ultimately achieving my dream of serving as a park ranger. Those were some of the best years of my life. Spending hours in the backcountry at night and exploring the vast cave passages below taught me to trust myself, and to no longer fear the dark. Those experiences deepened my connection to the natural world, strengthened my sense of purpose, and continue to shape the way I observe and capture the world through my lens. Family responsibilities required me to step back temporarily, but my commitment to the park and the NPS mission remains. Everyday, I look forward to the opportunity to return to the green and gray. For now I live vicariously though my partner, who is quite the talented park guide.
