In 2014, a portrait was taken to document my 30th birthday. For my 40th birthday, I went back to the same spot and asked Chaz to take my 40th photo. Both myself and the scenery have changed. I found it rather interesting that the canola was gone this time and there is a highway in the distance (not pictured). As for me, well she’s been through a lot over the last decade. I’ve also grown and learned many lessons. Chaz and the kids never let me give up. I’m definitely fluffier than I want to be, but I’m proud of my tenacity. Mom of two teens and a toddler at 40! Now I’m on a journey of self-discovery and better health. Here’s to the next decade!
