Invisible

Do you ever feel invisible? The moon shines brightly among billions of stars, but all they see is each other. The silent darkness, engulfs the light. For where is the sound of humanity on dark lonely nights? There is a sort of solace in solitude, but also a burden to ensure thoughts are unable to evolve into diamonds descending from lonely eyes. For many, we shine the best we can. Alone at night, the burden is overwhelming. The beauty hidden among the stars is misunderstood as a strange and ever-changing light. Stars expect duplication and perfection. To be unique is to be the last remaining light despite a vivid sky. The glow of dawn ends a sleepless night. The sounds of nature bring life back to the empty heart.
