Featured as Hart County Chamber of Commerce Business of the Week Spotlight
Earlier this month, Soul Gaze Photography, LLC was selected to be featured by the Hart County Chamber of Commerce as the 'Business of the Week' in October. This feature included an article in the Hart County News Herald, a video on social media and a radio feature.

Soul Gaze Photography LLC has been selected as Hart County Chamber of Commerce’s Business of the Week. Established by Amber Flowers in 2014, the business offers both photography services as well as website design. “I’ve had an interest in the arts from a young age and began experimenting with photography and web design as a creative hobby during high school,” explains Flowers. Over the years she has studied and practiced her skills, winning several awards along the way.
Flowers is a traveling photographer and works throughout south-central Kentucky, and will travel to other locations in or out of the state as needed. Her work includes portrait and wedding photography, commercial photography, antemortem pets and postmortem memoria photography, infrared landscape photography, as well as photo editing and restoration. “Photography was once a luxury few could afford. Now everyone has a camera in their pocket. The problem is, nearly all of our images are now digital. There’s something beautiful about the raw, tangible aspect of a print. Photography was meant to be captured and shared, displayed and appreciated for future generations. It’s time we get back to that,” notes Flowers.
As an addition to her photography, Flowers also offers web design and development, graphic design, social media marketing, copywriting and more. “When designing websites, I am passionate about creating work that is unique to that client. I want so much to help other businesses grow and in turn help my community grow.,” adds Flowers. She plans to eventually expand into a full marketing agency.
In her free time, Flowers volunteers at Mammoth Cave National Park where she currently works as a Summer Bat Monitor intern through the Student Conservation Association. She's also the Webmaster and a Board Member for Friends of Mammoth Cave National Park. “Nature and science were my first loves, and they continue to inspire me, plus I love bats!” explains Flowers.
